Your reviews help other customers find great food and help businesses improve. Here is how the review system works on Nom404.
When can I leave a review?
After your order is marked as completed, the app will prompt you to rate your experience. You can also review later from your order history.
Tip: You can only review orders you have actually received. Guest customers can also leave reviews — no account required.
How ratings work
You rate two things separately:
- Overall experience: A 1-5 star rating for the business — covers service, speed, and atmosphere.
- Individual items: Each item in your order gets its own 1-5 star rating. This helps surface the best dishes.
Your item ratings directly affect the “Popular” and “Trending” sections other customers see when browsing.
Writing a review
Along with your star rating, you can write a text review. Good reviews are specific:
- “The iced latte was perfectly balanced — not too sweet.”
- “Order was ready in 5 minutes. Fastest lunch I have ever had.”
- “The chicken was a bit dry today, but the rice bowl was excellent.”
Editing your review
Changed your mind? You can edit your review from your order history. Tap the order, scroll to your review, and tap “Edit.” Edited reviews are marked so the business knows it was updated.
Business responses
Business owners can respond to your review. You will see their reply attached to your review. This is a public conversation — both your review and their response are visible to everyone.
Owners now get a push notification on their phone the moment you post a review, so a thoughtful comment may get a personal reply within minutes — sometimes before you have even left the shop.
Review guidelines
To keep reviews helpful for everyone:
- Be honest and specific about your experience
- Focus on the food, service, and ordering experience
- Avoid offensive language or personal attacks
- Do not post spam or fake reviews — they will be removed by the platform
