Getting Started

5 min read

Getting your business on Nom404 takes about 10 minutes. When you register, your account is activated immediately — no approval wait. A setup wizard then guides you through the three things you need before you can accept your first order.

1. Register at dashboard.nom404.com

Go to dashboard.nom404.com and create your account. You can sign up with your email address or use Google sign-in.

Your business is activated immediately when you register — there is no waiting period or approval step.

2. Set up your business profile

Fill in the basic information about your business:

  • Business name: The name customers will see when they scan your QR code.
  • Address: Where your business is located.
  • Operating hours: Set your opening and closing times for each day of the week.
  • Logo: Upload your business logo. This appears on the menu and in the app.

Tip: You can update all of these details later. Start with the basics and refine as you go.

3. Complete the setup wizard

After registering, a three-step wizard walks you through the minimum you need before you can accept your first order. The wizard will appear on login until all three steps are done.

  1. Add a menu item — Add at least one item so customers have something to order. You can build out the full menu afterward.
  2. Enable payment methods — Choose GCash, Maya, cash, or any combination. For e-wallet methods, enter your account number so customers know where to send payment.
  3. Generate your QR code — Create the QR code customers will scan to open your menu. You can download it in multiple sizes for print once it is generated.

4. Build out your menu

Add the rest of your menu items to the dashboard. For each item, you can add:

  • Name and description
  • Price
  • Photo
  • Category (e.g. Drinks, Mains, Desserts)
  • Customization options — sizes, add-ons, removable ingredients
  • Dietary and allergen tags

See the Menu Setup guide for detailed instructions.

5. Place your QR code where customers can see it

Download your QR code from the dashboard and print it. Place it wherever your customers can easily see it:

  • On each table (for dine-in restaurants and cafes)
  • At the counter or entrance
  • On signage or menu boards
  • On takeaway packaging or flyers

Tip: Print a few extra copies. QR codes on tables can get worn out or stained over time, especially in food environments.

6. Start receiving orders

That is it. Once your QR code is up, customers can scan it, browse your menu, place orders, and pay. You will see every order appear in your dashboard in real time.

When an order comes in:

  1. Review the order and any modifications.
  2. Confirm the order to let the customer know you are on it.
  3. Prepare the food.
  4. Mark it as ready when it is done.

See the Order Management guide for the full details.
