Nom404 supports the payment methods Filipinos use every day. Here is how each one works.
Paying with GCash
- At checkout, select GCash as your payment method.
- You will see the business's GCash number or QR code. Open your GCash app and send the exact amount shown.
- After sending, take a screenshot of the GCash receipt showing the reference number and amount.
- Go back to Nom404 and upload the screenshot as payment proof.
- The business will verify your payment and confirm your order.
Tip: Make sure the amount matches exactly. If you send the wrong amount, the business may reject the payment and ask you to resend.
Paying with Maya
- At checkout, select Maya as your payment method.
- You will see the business's Maya number or QR code. Open your Maya app and send the exact amount.
- Take a screenshot of the Maya receipt showing the reference number and amount.
- Upload the screenshot to Nom404 as payment proof.
- The business will verify and confirm your order.
The process is the same as GCash — just use your Maya app instead.
Paying with cash
If you prefer to pay in person:
- At checkout, select Cash as your payment method.
- Your order will be sent to the business. No proof of payment is needed.
- Pay at the counter when you pick up your order, or when the staff delivers it to your table.
Leaving a tip
At checkout you can leave a tip for the team that serves you. Tap one of the preset chips for 10, 15, or 20 percent, or tap custom to type any peso amount. You can also leave no tip — it is always optional.
The tip is added to your order total and paid with the same payment method as the rest of your order. Every peso goes straight to the business. Nom404 does not take a cut.
If you do not see tip options at checkout, the business has chosen not to accept tips.
Payment timing
Different businesses handle payment at different times:
- Pay after confirmation: You place your order first. Once the business confirms it, you are then asked to pay. This gives you a chance to see if they can accommodate any modifications before you send money.
- Pay upfront: You pay at checkout, before the business sees your order. Your order is sent to the business along with your payment proof.
The app will tell you which timing the business uses when you check out. You do not need to choose — it is set by each business.
What if my payment is rejected?
A business may reject your payment proof if:
- The screenshot is unclear or unreadable
- The amount does not match the order total
- The reference number cannot be verified
- The payment was sent to the wrong number
If this happens, you will receive a notification explaining why. You can then upload a new proof of payment or switch to a different payment method.

For business owners — paying your Nom404 subscription
Customer payments above are direct from customer to business — Nom404 never touches the money. The only payment that flows through us is your monthly Nom404 subscription if you are on a paid tier.
We bill via HitPay (one-shot GCash). When a renewal is due, you receive an email with a payment link 5 days before, on the day, and 7 days after if still unpaid. Click the link, pay with GCash, and your subscription continues uninterrupted.
You can review your current tier, next renewal date, and past invoices any time from Settings > Subscription on the dashboard. We do not store card numbers or pull funds automatically — every renewal is a deliberate one-tap payment by you.
