Payments & Verification

5 min read

Nom404 supports GCash, Maya, and cash payments. Here is how to verify payment proofs, configure your payment settings, and keep track of your revenue.

Supported payment methods

  • GCash: Customer sends payment to your GCash number and uploads a screenshot as proof.
  • Maya: Same flow — customer sends payment and uploads proof.
  • Cash: Customer pays at the counter. No proof needed.

You can enable or disable any payment method in Settings → Payment Methods. Add your GCash number or Maya details so customers know where to send payment.

Payment timing modes

You can choose when customers pay:

  • Pay after confirmation: The business confirms the order first, then the customer is prompted to pay. This is the default and works well for most restaurants.
  • Pay upfront: The customer must submit payment proof before the order is confirmed. Good for high-volume businesses that want to avoid no-shows.

Toggle this in Settings → Payment Timing. You can change it anytime.

Verifying payment proofs

When a customer submits a GCash or Maya payment proof, it appears in the Payments section with status “Submitted.” To verify:

  1. Open the payment proof by tapping the order
  2. Check the screenshot — look for the correct amount and reference number
  3. Cross-check with your GCash or Maya transaction history if needed
  4. Tap “Verify” to confirm, or “Reject” if the proof does not match

Watch out: If the same reference number has been used before, the system will flag it as a potential duplicate. You can still verify it if you confirm it is a legitimate payment.

Payment analytics

Go to Payments → Analytics to see:

You can also export payment data as CSV for your bookkeeping.
