Minimum orders and cashier cash collection
Two updates land this week that make running your café on Nom a little calmer: smarter minimum orders, and a cleaner way to handle cash at the counter.
Set a minimum order that fits each service
Not every order should cost you more to serve than it earns. You can now set a minimum order amount separately for pickup and for table delivery, so each service has the floor that actually makes sense for it. Keep pickup open for quick grab-and-go, while your table-delivery floor protects the steps it takes to serve the far tables. Customers see the minimum clearly at checkout, and it is enforced automatically.
Cashier cash collection, without the mix-ups
When two online cash orders hit a busy counter, it is easy to lose track of which payment belongs to which order. The new cashier cash collection ties each in-person cash payment to the right online order with a short validation code. The customer shows their code, your cashier confirms, and the payment locks to that exact order. Fewer disputes, faster handoffs, and cleaner cash at the end of the day.
